"You don't have to apologize," she replies with a slight huff. "That boy, always with his little surprises. He's quite something, isn't he?"

Despite the slight :T in her face, you can tell that her voice is filled with a lot of fondness.

"I'll make you a snack so feel free to wait around here. Takashi might be upstairs as well if you'd like to check. Feel free to make yourself at home, alright?" She quickly turned to the kitchen with a smile, and the older man, who had been silent this whole time, gave a slight nod and followed right behind her.
